The Rebels
will be holding a early season fund raiser to help cover
operating expenses and the 2008 social calendar.
There will be plenty of food, pool and doorprizes up
for grabs. Come out and support the Rebels' 2008 season.

Streetcar Party

| Traditionally,
the year's social calendar is kicked off with
the Rebels Annual Streetcar Party. Join the
Rebels on a bar hop with style as we tour some
of the better (and more understanding) drinking
establishments in the downtown core. Friends
and family are welcome. Stay tuned for more
details regarding itinerary and costs. Cost
includes transport
and a mid-trip feast. |

| Island BBQGolf Tournament

| Rain or
shine, the Rebels hit the links with same enthusiasm
they show on the field. Five hours, several
"refreshments", and multiple lost balls later, all
retire to the club house to boast of their prowess.

| REBELS GOLF TIP #1: The
wearing of one's pants around one's ankles for a "walk
of shame" from the green to the next tee has been
noticed to be a distraction to other golfers and a
possible contravention of course etiquette. Avoid
drawing unnecessary attention to yourself ... oh, and
take small steps. |

| One of the
highlights of the year is always the tallying of Best
& Fairest votes. A copious amount of beer is
consumed, so the addition is often a subject of debate.
Brand-name auditors are specifically recruited by the
Rebels in anticipation of this event. Later, acting
under advice, all evidence is shredded ... just in
case. |

| Awards Banquet

| At the
conclusion of each season, the Rebels gather with their
wives and girlfriends to feast in splendor. We laugh, we
cry, we sing, we dance, we listen to speeches (not
necessarily in that order). We also take this
opportunity to reflect on the year, and recognize both
the formal and ... Errr ... "informal" accomplishments
of the Rebels rabble. |

Footy Trip -

| After yet
another hard fought season, there's nothing better to
cleanse the soul than a trip away. This year's
destination is currently a closely guarded secret among
the Rebel's Executive, but plan to depart Toronto on a
Thursday and (hopefully) return on Sunday. What occurs
in between can scarcely be discussed (or even
remembered) by those who partake in this annual event.
